Portland Apothecary is looking for a studio manager to help run the apothecary.
This job includes:
-Managing PA online shop and wholesale accounts (this includes filling & shipping shop orders, fulfilling wholesale orders & corresponding with wholesale accounts)
-Production of remedies (this includes herbal teas, salves, misters, aromatherapy oils, cold process soap, lip balm, salt soaks etc...)
- Managing inventory and supply ordering
- Order delivery and pick-up
-Working pop up shop and events
Looking for someone who:
- Has a deep love and passion for plants and herbal medicine! Interest in teaching and sharing knowledge through writing and hands on workshops
-Is self-motivated and has exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills
-Has an interest and knowledge in holistic skin care, aromatherapy and the healing arts
-Is outgoing, personable and is comfortable training and managing other employees
-Speaks up. Shares ideas, gives feedback that creates a collaborative work environment
-Creates a warm, welcoming and supportive work environment with friendliness, understanding, consistency, flexibility, and adaptability
- Exceptional attention to detail, quality and presentation
-Has extensive knowledge in plants, herbalism, gardening, botany and cooking
-Understands production systems and how to create and maintain a safe, clean tidy work space
-Formal training in herbalism and hands on experience making herbal remedies
- Is available to work 4 days a week (36hrs)
-Hourly pay will be based on experience
