We are so excited to now host classes and workshops at our new studio! Tonight's class is the first in a series of Herbs for Women’s Health workshops taught by herbalist and midwife Sarah Foster of Little Leaf Botanicals. This class sold out quickly, so do send us an email if you want to attend a future class. We may repeat this one if there is enough interest!
In this workshop we will learn about the different phases of our menstrual cycle and how to best support each of these phases with herbs, food and lifestyle. We will explore the different energies of each phase and herbs that can help bring balance and nourish our monthly cycles. We will also discuss our fertility and a few simple ways to use this awareness to achieve or avoid pregnancy, or simply get more in touch with what is happening during the month. With this knowledge we can cultivate a nurturing and empowering relationship with our body!
We will work with herbs and make a delicious herbal tea that is specific for supporting our cycles. Each student will get to blend an herbal tea to take home.
From 6:30-9 pm at our studio in North Portland.
Please note this class is excluded from any discounts or sales offered on the rest of our shop.
A little more about Sarah Foster-
Sarah has always had a deep love for plants and the natural world. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she spent summer days hiking and camping in the wilderness with her family, identifying native plants with her grandmother and gardening with her mother. Out of this love and reverence for the wild, she discovered herbal medicine. Sarah has been studying and crafting herbal remedies for the past 20 years. She is a licensed midwife and specializes in women’s health and herbs for children. She offers midwifery services, fertility and herbal consultations and herbal remedies for mamas and babies at Little Leaf Botanicals.
